DESCRIPTION:
William Barton, Wigan, England, tall clock, 8 day, time, calendar, moon phase and bell strike movement in an oak case with broken arch, mahogany highlights and inlay and painted iron dial, c1850
CONDITION:
the case has been professionally refinished and has some great inlay. The 3" lower portion of base is replaced. The left side of the arch has a split and has veneer lifting. The finials are replacements. The dial has been repainted. The case is leaning forward. Ht 92 1/2"
